Life Organizer ("we," "us," "Life Organizer") is a product of BillCore, LLC, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This policy explains what information we collect, what we don't, and how the two are kept separate by design.
The short version: The personal, financial, legal, and legacy information you enter into your workbook is encrypted on your own device and never sent to us in a readable form. We collect only what's needed to process payment and provide support — nothing about the contents of your workbook.
Everything you enter into your Life Organizer workbook — personal and family information, financial accounts, insurance policies, passwords, important documents, beneficiary designations, final wishes, legacy notes, and any file attachments — is encrypted in your browser using AES-GCM 256-bit encryption before it is stored. It is saved locally on your device (in your browser's IndexedDB storage), not on our servers.
Your vault password is never transmitted to us, never stored by us, and is not recoverable by us. We have no technical ability to read, access, or restore the contents of your workbook. If you lose your password, we cannot help you recover your data — this is an intentional consequence of the zero-knowledge design, not an oversight.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation that a payment was completed, an email address, and a transaction reference — we do not receive or store your card number or other payment details. Stripe's own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment information.
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic and usage patterns — for example, which pages are visited and how people arrive at the site. Google Analytics operates independently of your encrypted workbook and has no access to any information you store in the app. You can learn more about Google's data practices at Google's Privacy Policy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using tools such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Life Organizer uses your browser's local storage and IndexedDB to store your encrypted workbook and basic app preferences (such as whether you've completed setup). These stay on your device. Google Analytics may set its own cookies to distinguish site visitors, per its standard practices.
We do not sell your information. We do not share your information with third parties for advertising purposes. We do not run ads on Life Organizer. The only third parties involved in operating this service are:
Because your workbook lives on your own device, you are in full control of it. You can permanently delete your workbook at any time from within the app (Unlock screen → "Start over"), which erases all locally stored data on that device and browser. If you have an encrypted backup file saved elsewhere, deleting the app's local data does not delete that backup file — you control where those files are stored and should delete them separately if desired.

Life Organizer is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
